question about voice file generation

Hi list.
Ok i'm no expert on this and someones probably going to say there are good
reasons why this isn't done but i just have a question about voice
generation.
I was wondering once rb generates voice clips, why doesn't it store the
voice clips for reuse? as that's what takes the longest time when making a
voice is the generation, surely saving voice clips for reuse would be a lot
more efficient in terms of saving time. That way it would only be nescesary
to generate new clips if needed. as i mean for example i doubt that some
clips would ever be updated like most of the ones that make up the menus,
such as general, settings etc. maybe only the odd editional option or clip,
and nobody is going to update clips that make up numbers or letters or other
simbles.
It just seems to me that a lot of time is wasted generating clips that never
are going to be changed each time and then they are just deleted after the
voice is built.
These are just my thoughts.
Alex.
