I've talked to people on IRC and I've got feedback from a bunch of people on
the forums.

Of course not everyone is bound to agree with all decisions, but you are the
*first* person who says 12000USD/year to Rockbox should be turned down.

Personally, I can instead see how this money can be turned into a pretty cool
devcon 2009 or similar...

There exist additional plugins for adblock plus that can block pieces of HTML
as well, so you can in fact block these ads too if you want to.
