Just a reminder: (in)sane defaults for the shotgun approach of making
sure users are less likely to see error messages:

Increase max files in folder
Increase playlist max length
Enable dircache
Any others?

These will decrease available RAM (and almost certainly only apply to
swcodec) but I'd rather we be giving tips on how to improve performance
by decreasing these than having people run into arcane error messages
because they have a filetree layed out in a way we deem abnormal.
