This doesn't really make sense. It's not "crippling" the default
settings to not enable an option that will cause bad behaviour for some
users, when having the option disabled at least results in a consistent
experience. If it's ever fixed, we should enable it. Until then, there's
no sense making a "stable" release act buggier than is necessary.
