The forum has just such a facility:

http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?board=28.0 takes you to the "Hardware"
section.

http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?board=41.0 takes you to the "Repairing
broken players" section.

I don't know how accessible it would be for you , but that's your best bet
here.

Probably good to let this thread (on the DEV list) die now...
