I am not sure of this: now that you have found the lowest level LCD
functions you must find the command set of the View controller.

Just download the datasheet of a candidate controller, and see if all
the commands you found have a correct meaning.
Since the lcd_init_device has a lot of commands I think the quick way
to match one controller is to look at lcd_write_reg or LCD_FB_BASE_REG
(device framebuffer).
