Hey,
What is the story with this patch? IIRC the only thing really holding
it back is the need to increase the static skin buffer (which on some
targets (grey iirc) is already too small that they cant load fonts
anyway).
It would be nice if this actually went in, so over the next few days
I'm going to resync it, fix any bugs which I find and figure out how
much bigger the buffer needs to be.

If noone replies by midweek I'm going to assume that it is all good
and in it goes.
