Subject: Preparing the 3.7.1 update

Preparing the 3.7.1 update

From: Frank Gevaerts <frank_at_gevaerts.be>
Date: Tue, 23 Nov 2010 23:26:21 +0100

Hi,

3.7 has now been out for nearly a month, so if we want to do regular
updates, now is the time.

Some of us went through the svn logs today and backported a few
remaining useful fixes to the 3.7 branch, and the version numbers in the
scripts have been bumped, so apart from building and uploading we're
about ready.

The current plan is to do this on Thursday evening (European time). If
you think we missed some fixes in trunk, please backport them to the 3.7
branch as soon as possible. For changes that do not clearly just fix a
bug, or for bugfixes that have a high risk of breaking something else,
please discuss on irc first.

The changes in the 3.7 branch since the release are listed below.
