Well, they probably could benefit from different mappings, especially in
upside-down mode...

There are three rocker buttons, making three different events each, so
nine, plus one play/pause and a stop button, if I recall correctly (I
don't have it in my hands right now).

The base hardware has nine buttons, so on the remote there is one more
button (I don't know the exact usecase of that one right now).
Essentially, you can do the same with both.
