DetailsThis patch addes handling of the unmount that's necessary for bootloader installation (ipod / sansa) on OS X. After the bootloader has been successfully installed Rockbox Utility waits for the system to remount the player (by checking the device as reported by the system prior to unmounting).

I did this a while back and tests done by others seems to reveal this not working correctly but always hitting the timeout, even if the player had already been remounted by the system though I don't know why (or if it was a different issue causing this). Faking the unmount / remount behaviour on linux showed this patch working in principle. |
