How About you call it “DrumBox”?
Yes, A synthesis of drummachine and rockbox would be good. either drumbox, rockmachine, rockdrum, drumrock... or simply call it drummachine, cause that’s what it’s supposed to be, right?
It could be whatever you want, really. If you put a bunch of keyboard samples in the folder it would sound like a keyboard.
Nice idea. I think it’s obviously most suited to percussion since we don’t have enough buttons to manage very complex melodies on these DAPs. A simple “Drum kit” might suffice for a name. I think there’s no reason to be slavish to the Foobox/Rockfoo nomenclature, though drumbox doesn’t seem too bad.
By .raw you just mean raw PCM?
Chronon: Yes, raw PCM. I’m looking into multiple codec implementation now.
Updated with keymap for the c200.
What is the possibility of this on the 5th Gen?
