FS#10657 - Hitting new button as old button is released doesn't release old button
Has anyone noticed that when you have a button held down (short or long period), and hit a new button AS YOU LET GO OF THE OLD BUTTON, the old button stays “stuck” down in rockbox?
I’m trying to write a plugin in which you can hit buttons to play back samples and my main bug is that if one button is hit when another is let go, it doesn’t release the old button.
I have this consistently happening on an sansa c200 and e200, so i assume it’s rockbox specific (or sansa specific).
thanks for any help/tips. i’d love to bugfix myself if anyone has any ideas.

Try it in the sim to see if its a limitation of the Sansa's button driver or Rockbox.
I can't reproduce this on a Sansa e200 or the sim.
In both cases holding down a button to scroll, pressing a second button, and then releasing the first acted like the first button was pressed, then no buttons were pressed, then only the second button was pressed. I also tried some other button scenarios, and it all worked as I expected.
I tested this in the bounce and plasma plugins on 45e5b05-120515.
