New clicks and pops introduced during playback, that weren't there before. You can hear them clearer, if you turn the pitch down.

Same problem. But with accompanied pan-switching aka wrong audio channels even in normal playback (left becomes right, vice-versa)

I've got the same error also with newest svn revision (24148) only with some albums (one flac and some mp3)

After thousands compilations :) I found that first revision with broken playback is 23587. 23586 works ok.

I attach patch that reverts changes made in 23587 revision in file pcm-s5l8700.c I am not programmer and can't locate error. Patch can be applied clearly on 24153 revision.
