DetailsIn build r24524, on target Sansa e280v1.
The text viewer seems to be a minor bug. When a text file is selected it appears to open the file but the screen goes blank. If I press the 'select' the menu comes up & if I select 'Return' it goes back to the text viewer & all is fine. |

I just retested it & it appeared to be theme specific. I changed the theme several times & checked a text file after each change, I have many of the current ones installed, & when I set it to Arbox Widgets -e200 & opened a text file I got a solid screen. I attempted to cancel out of the text viewer & it locked up. So, I restarted & it opens text files fine now.
But, if I change the theme & move around the menu structure a bit, looking at a few text files & go back to themes & change to a different one & then repeat the whole process it sometimes crashes, this last time I got a white screen & the error message "Undefined_instruction at 40004470 (0)" & had to do a hard reset.
So, is this a general stability issue, or a problem induced by changing themes? I'm at a loss to figure this one out.
because it is at present uncertain where the problem is, will you give information to me more?
And could you upload the text file where the problem occurs?
questions:
1) Use theme name
2) Use font.
3) Select codepages.
4) Select text viewer's options.(Encoding, Word Wrap, Line Mode, Wide View, Show Scrollbar, Overlap Pages...)
I'm sorry but the problem seems to be difficult to replicate in a precise patern. At this time I will just not switch the theme several times in a row unless I reboot afterwards.
Other than that all else seems to be working well, at least the parts I use.
If you'd like you could close this bug report.
If this problem does not occur, then I will close this task.
