Details

When moving tracks, from any position in respect to the current track, to the position immediately before the current/playing track, the playlist shows as if the playing track would be the track just moved, and the next track would be the current/playing track. Therefore, the current/playing track is repeated (played twice).

I noticed this in release 3.6 but have no idea since when was it failing.

The problem actually occurs every time any track placed after the current/playing track, is moved within the playlist, to any position before the current track.

The problem has remained present in current builds as of today, i.e it isn't only a realease 3.6 issue.

This has been happening to me too on the Sandisk Sansa v1 for a while now, I'm pretty sure it's been a problem since 3.6 as far as I recall. Was just about to make a thread about this problem when I found this already existing one. :)

Exactly, and after doing so, the playing icon (which is typically placed beside the song that is playing, of course) gets shifted upwards to the track above (even though it's not really the track that is being played), thus when the player moves to the next track, it plays the same song over again. Hopefully this is a problem that can be fixed, it's quite annoying actually. AFAIK, it's the only bug in the Playlist that I've encountered so far.
