The Ipod Video 80GB will stop playback after a number of skips. seems to be from when playback is resumed. Playback only continues after a reboot

Additional comments about closing:  This is assumed fixed with r29476. The change has been merged to v3.8 branch as well and might be part of a 3.8.x version.

Similar problems with my 5.5g here, playback stops after one song, skipping is not possible, trying to stop freezes the UI.

This might be related to  FS#11865 . Can you please post
- if you are using the database
- check if "gather runtime data" is enabled
- try if the problem still appears after you reinitialized the database?
