Hello,

Rockbox 3.7.1 and current build as of dec 28 2010 do a "Data Abort at 0006C900 (0)" on iPod video when starting to play the following mp3:

winamp plays it fine.
btw. download is legal (interview podcast of a german radio station).

The file plays correctly for me, so its probably not a codec issue. Could you try the following:

1) Create a new folder on your ipod with nothing in it
2) Copy the file to the new folder

See if it still crashes when its in a new location.

fwiw, this file plays fine a sim build with cabbiev2 theme.

to saratoga: yes, crashes too when its the only file in folder

to Buschel: bingo. when I switch from AAFreak Theme to cabbiev2 it plays fine for me too.

interesting. thousands of mp3s did play fine with this Theme.

A duff theme ought not to cause data aborts - so there is a bug here...
