Detailshey,
ok, im bored of the radio screen and figured it was time to "wps" it... so here is the start. i have split the lcd drawing code into radio_gui.c and added some functions to radio.c to get all the aviable info from the radio that can (ideally) be shown.. also, ive done a minor fix to make it more responsive. ive dos2unix'ed the patch and changed tabs to spaces to make evry1 happy :D |

just a request and suggestion,
could this be modified and applied to recording?
and could gwps-common.c where i believe tags are being
defined. be modified for different "tagsets"
i.e. fm radio only sets, and wps only sets
the recording screen might be a bit harder because there are
some settings that can be changed actually on the screen...
but that was gonna be next.
i dont know if it would be easier to make the wps drawing
code more generic or just copy it for each screen and make
it work..
Suggestion for the future:
In Europe they broadcast text along with the audio signal on
the FM band; in America this isn't done. But, European car
stereos display this text scrolling on the screen of the
radio. Would it be possible to include this in the radio WPS?
Common things broadcast are song names/artist/album, traffic
info, custom msgs, and radio station contest info.
is that digital radio? we havnt got that here yet either
(australia) and i doubt the hardware could do it.. so thats
a no unless someone else knows...
The FM receiver in the iriver has no support for RDS, so no,
it can't be done.
