DetailsI put together a Nimbus-based Unicode font with Chinese characters. It looks great and yet it is only 14 pixels (much smaller than Unifont), so it should be easier to standardize WPS's around it.
It combines the CJK characters in ttf-arphic-uming("AR PL ShanHeiSun Uni") with the ASCII and Latin-1 characters in Nimbus. Nimbus is part of the default Rockbox builds, and is available here: http://www.rockbox.org/fonts/ ttf-arphic-uming is freely available here: http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software_2fCJKUnifonts_2fDownload (If you have questions about what CJK charsets are supported, please go to ttf-arphic-uming link; this font should support exactly the same ones as in uming.ttf, which can be found in the ttf-arphic-uming tarball) |
This task depends upon
If someone can fix it (.sfd and .bdf files for Fontforge are in the .zip), please go ahead. (I'm very busy this week!)

The .sfd file isn't included in the .zip file anymore. It makes the archive huge and it seems to me that the .bdf file already has all that's needed for viewing/editing in Fontforge.
Is it easy to compile the other sets?
Is it this license ?
