DetailsVorbis files that are 4 seconds or less don't play. I had a file in one of my albums that was about 4 seconds in length and it wouldn't play. The track plays in all music apps on my PC and the iriver stock firmware.
I then proceded to generate some vorbis files of various lengths, 3 secs, 4 secs, 5, 6, 7 and 8 secs. The files that didn't play were the files of 3 and 4 seconds in length. There WAV counterparts played without problem. I haven't tried any other codecs yet... Happy hunting :) |

Reason for closing: Fixed
Additional comments about closing: The Vorbis metadata parser failed on files smaller than 64 kB, which I\'ve fixed. Should there still be problems, please re-open this bug or file a new one.

Does this still occur with a recent build?
yes, just tested on ihp-120 with a build from late 27th April.
Bug confirmed on the iPod Mini 2G port as well, with all my Vorbis files being five seconds or less. Rockbox skips them altogether, can't play them, and doesn't add them to the tag cache either.
