FS#4989 - Playback skips with Jewels

DetailsIf I play jewels for 5-10 minutes while listening to music (I've tested with vorbis and mp3), after a while the song starts to skip like crazy (vorbis). With MP3 the sound starts to get distorted, with audible beeps.
After it starts this weird behaviour, it never returns to normal again, even if I stop and restart the playback or quit jewels. While in this "crazy skipping" status, I also noticed that the jpg's aren't decoded correctly and often I get the "Data abort" message while trying to change the song or display an image.
