FS#5523 - Fire plugin makes music skip

The plugin “fire” seems to be using too much resources, and thus resulting in the music skipping a lot. I’m running version CVS-060602 (daily build) on an iriver H320. I tested the problem with a 64kbps CBR MP3 file, a 160kpbs CBR MP3 file, and a 108kbps OGG/Vorbis file. The results were the same with each. The music stops playing for about 10-15 seconds, plays for one second, stops for 10-15 seconds, and so on…

Reproducing the bug:
1. Select a song to play.
2. Enter the plugins menu
3. Run “fire” 4. Wait a couple of seconds, and the music should start skipping.
