Rockbox-Version: Newest CVS-Build Affected setting: Sound Settings -> Balance = +15 When i set this value, the balancing changes correctly. But when i reboot rockbox or start a new playlist, both channels are playing the music at 100%. The value in the Sound Settings -> Balance is still displayed correctly. In this case ajusting the balance or ajusting the volume +- 1 step (!) corrects the balancing. My assumption: The balancing has to be set when the music playback initalizes. |

With Balance set to <> 0%, when I skip a track the balance remains ok if it successfully crossfades. But if the buffer or whatever isn't ready and it doesn't crossfade on skipping, the balance seems to be reset to 0% (although still correctly displayed in the settings). A volume change brings back the correct balance.
