This patch is designed to work around the "always charging" problem on the H3x0. So if the "charger plugged in" icon is always there and if you cannot turn off you player normally you may want to try it. It works by using the "charging" signal instead of "charger plugged in". Note that, if the charger is connected and the battery is full the player will stop charging and rockbox will think the charger is unplugged. If you try to shut down in this state it will automatically reboot to the iriver firmware. If you do not have the problem, installing this patch will only break things up. |
