I am using the most current cvs firmware build for the ipod video as of this post (i believe it is 061012).
Sometimes (not every time for some reason... still testing to find out when exactly it happens) after shutting down the ipod from within rockbox, it will not turn on again, complaining of a low battery (it shows the low battery warning once and then does not respond after that to the power button).
This is actually an incorrect report - the battery is approximately half full.
However, pushing and holding both the center button and the menu button whilst it is off "resets" the ipod (even though it is turned off) and it successfully boots into rockbox and works fine.

Reason for closing: Wont Fix
Additional comments about closing: The original problem is an apple problem, nothing we can do about. When switching on the Apple bootloader is started, and this starts the Rockbox booloader. If there is a low battery symbol it's not Rockbox related.
The comments note different issues that have nothing to do with the original task. Additionally, this is not a support channel. People searching for help like in the comments are required to use our support channels, linked from the website.
