DetailsI have an iPod Nano gen1. So far, everything is working great, except for the Idle Sleep timer, which does not respond in the time allotted (5,10,15 seconds) and the Poweroff Timer kicks in while playing a file.
So I have disabled the both of these functions and am using the manual shutdown when not using the Pod. Using rockbox dated 27-1-07 |
This task depends upon
The "Sleep Timer" is not an "Idle" sleep timer but a timer that shuts down
the player after a set timeout even while playing (To be used when for example
falling asleep while listening to music)
Direct quote from the manual: "This option lets you power off your player after
playing for a given time. Can be set from Off to 5 hours in 5 minute steps."
The Idle poweroff is only enabled when music is not playing and can be set to
times between 1 minute and 60 minutes.
If what you are experiencing differs from this behaviour please clarify what happends.
There is no Idle Sleep timer and the other option is called Idle Poweroff. Please let us know if these options are not working as described.
