DetailsI'll be playing through an album, and at some point in the middle of a song, the iPod will stop responding to commands. The screen does not update (so it appears as though nothing is happening) but the music keeps playing, so it's hard to notice until you actually try to lower the volume or turn it off or something involving controls. The backlight will activate on contact, but otherwise the device is unresponsive. It keeps playing music (even loading the next track and such) until eventually (usually within an hour) it comes back to life spontaneously, at which point it can be turned off.

FS#6395is almost exactly the same as this one, except I most definitely don't regain control through any means. Can't reset, can't change volume, nothing. After the UI locks up the DAP continues playing fine, but until just before the UI starts responding again then the audio will cut out and return again (like buffer under runs) a few times then the UI starts responding again.
Even more interesting is that I can repeat the lockup at will by starting a song playing then going in to the rockbox credits screen, by screen then stops updateing after about 150 names, but I have got as far as 230 manes into the credits before the screen stops updating.

to be 100% sure.
So far thinks are looking good to me though.
