DetailsTurning the player with the headphones unplugged and Pause On Headphone Unplug option on "Pause" and then connecting the headphones after the boot is finished and pressing the POWER button (Resume Playback) locks the player leaving the only option to power the device off and on again.

I just tried it several times with my Gigabeat running the latest build (r13040-070406). It didn't freeze once, was this a one off or does it always happen? Its possible i have misinterpreted the process but I don't think I have.
make sure Pause On Headphone Unplug option is on "Pause". start playing a folder. turn off the player. disconnect the headphones. turn on the player. wait for the boot to finish. connect the headphones. press POWER to resume playback.
I can't reproduce here on SVN r14152. I reset the settings on my Gigabeat, set Pause On Headphone Unplug to "Pause" and started playing an album. I turned off my Gigabeat and unplugged my headphones. Then I turned on the player and I was at the root menu with playback stopped. I plugged in the headphones and pressed A to resume playback and had no problems.
