FS#7011 - MPEG Player Plays Perfect once, never again.

Im not sure if this is a known bug or anything, so i apologize if it is, but i played a video with the latest update of Mpeg Player on my Sansa E200, played perfectly the first time through, but now videos wont play at all. just brings up a black screen. i tried reloading rockbox. no use.

Thanks, and keep up the good work.

This has been fixed and no more response from the poster for a month.

After the latest patch, problem has not improved, but now i am recieveing Undefined instruction at E7CC2002 sometimes.

Me too and it all just stops if video is moved off the COP- just a check on it really and not a solution. I think it's a cacheing problem since one race condition has been fixed that would hang it. I no longer get the FREEZE! if putting the buffer variables back in IRAM but this supposedly messes up iPods. The undefined instruction happens on the COP as well - audio keeps playing most of the time and can be stopped with the button. An interesting thing is that it _all_ stops with the video on COP if the video thread shows a splash just before it exits…go figure.

I'll verify more when the dang power comes on (running off generator atm).

The threading and core system was updated as this was indeed manifesting a cache problem. It should be fixed now and the player has some minor fixes for core safety and keeping garbage off the lcd after exit and when entering the menu. I cannot crash mpegplayer on e260 as much as I try to do so now.

If you don't find you're having a problem anymore, I'd like to close this ASAP.
