Is this still an issue for you? Are you using the official unmodified tagnavi.config file?
Does it happen regardless of what music files you have present on the player?
Could you provide a sample file that doesn't show up in the list?

> Is this still an issue for you?

yes, i just upgraded to the most recent current build and the behavior is the same.

btw: the global track list contains files, so the database is not empty

> Are you using the official unmodified tagnavi.config file?

i didn't modify tagnavi.config or other files (unzip rockbox.zip; unzip rockbox-fonts.zip)

> Does it happen regardless of what music files you have present on the player?

not sure, as i didn't want to erase the collection i have on the player right now ...

> Could you provide a sample file that doesn't show up in the list?

i'll send you one per mail

thx

No problems here with the e200, r16929 and the default tagnavi file. Matze, do you see anything under those menus at all? It should start with "Numeric" and then have a folder for each letter of the alphabet. Or is it those folders which are all empty?
