FS#7443 - iAudio freezes when configuring peak meters
If I select “Settings→General Settings→Display→Peak Meter→Peak Release”, my iAudio X5V freezes. After pressing buttons randomly, including Power, it reboots and resumes playback. This way I cannot configure my peak meters unless I directly edit the config file.

Same here on a H120 (r13964-070723) - the unit just crashes, playback stops and blacklight stays on. I weren’t able to restart it with the main buttons (hard crash). I also tried the simulator of the H120 in Vmware. I don’t know whether it helps but rockboxui stops with the following message:
Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)
* glibc detected * corrupted double-linked list: 0x402306ac ***
Aborted
However the address differ sometimes.
I’ve updated to 24-07-2007 firmware (due to another problem I reported) and it still exists. By the way, the simulator works perfectly for me, the problem doesn’t happen there.
I’ll update the fw as soon as I’m able to and will check again.
I can reproduce it on my H100 but not on my gigabeat, though I have to say that this menu on Gigabeat shows a massive ammount of garbage after the number entries, (and the range of choices is from 1-2017!!)
I’ve reproduced the problem again with r14103-070731 firmware on my iAudio X5V.
It seems to be fixed with r14378-070817 on my H120.
