FS#7527 - The Pause on Headphone Unplug no longer seems to pause music playback.

I have an iPod Nano 2GB (also tested on a Nano 4GB not myself)
I’ve downloaded iPod patcher and installed it then installed build r14157-070803
On starting my iPod I went straight to Settings→General Settings→Playback→Pause on Headphone Unplug→Pause on Headphone Unplug set it to Pause and Resume.
Played an OGG file
Unpluged my headphones and the track time on the iPod continued increasing.

The same happened when I set it to Pause only.

This used to work on my iPod a long time ago I don’t know which build it stopped working on.

Reportedly working in current svn.

A fix was committed recently regarding this setting - can you check and see if this is fixed please.

I’ve just tested the 2GB nano again using r14254-070809.
I have not run the iPodpatcher software again, if this is required please let me know
I followed the same procedure
delete the .rockbox folder copy new one onto device
Settings→General Settings→Playback→Pause on Headphone Unplug→Pause on Headphone Unplug set it to Pause and Resume.
Play an OGG file
Unplug headphones and the track time on the iPod continued increasing.
Hold Menu and Select until player reboots try again, same

I’ve been running bootloader and software r13762 for about a month and the unplug function was working on both my 2gb and 4gb players, I’ve updated the bootloader today using this link http://download.rockbox.org/bootloader/ipod/ipodpatcher/ the 2gb unplug function stops working.

The problem appears to be with the bootloader. I’ve tried r13000, r12000, r11108 and none of them have a working “pause on unplug”. I’m running the latest bootloader and the feature used to work.

This seems to work on Gigabeat, is it also fixed on iPod?

oh i thought this was just one of those features RB didnt have

This works fine on iPod 5.5G
