The Portal Player targets in general have something being done wrong with cache handling where flushing both caches results in both cores having the same but wrong data and the reason doesn't seem to be obvious. Trust me, it keeps me up at night a little. :) It blows up at mpeg2_init() as far as I've been able to determine.

How about holding the power button for 10-15 seconds? It will do a hardware shutdown. Shouldn't need a screwdriver.

prefetch abort at deadbeee

Today's error was that.

If I remember correctly, when it freeze up you can only reset it with the battery. Holding power for 5 sec do a shutdown if normal
