After selecting albums in PictureFlow to see the track list, I discovered the lists are backwards. In other words, it starts at the last song on the album and goes down to the first.

Different but possibly related:

The scrolling response is also backwards/reversed from the Rockbox default of Left=Up Right=Down.

I forgot to add that I'm using a Gigabeat F40 with a standard (unpatched) r16011 build.

Marc: What DAP are you using? It sounds like your screen is rotated 90 degrees. Is it normally rotated in PictureFlow like that, or did you patch your build?

Sansa e200, the screen isn't rotated, and it's an official build. You're not experiencing the same thing?

Could you be more specific about what you mean by "Left=Up" and "Right=Down"? Are left and right what you're pressing on the keypad, or is that what's happening on the screen?

Either way it doesn't make sense to me; I haven't experienced anything that's unintuitive in terms of scrolling through tracks or album covers. Are you talking about scrolling through the track list or through the album covers?

Moving the wheel counter-clockwise moves down the track list and moving it clockwise moves it up, which is counterintuitive to the rest of the interface.

FS#8341  fixes this, at least as long as e200/R is concerned.

FS#8341  doesn't fix this task but the issue mentioned in the above comment (http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/8425#comment20433) only ...
