For the past few days when I've been playing albums, the first few songs usually work, but then my H10 20gb freezes and I have to do a hard reset to re-enable the device.

Builds from about a week ago worked fine, but the current build freezes without fail. I wasn't sure if there was an error message, so I turned my backlight to "Always On" and played an album to test it. This time, the player froze during the first song and the screen didn't display an error, it just froze so that it wasn't responsive to key movement.

This happened while playing albums through the database, by the way.

Can you try to isolate which svn commit caused the problem? As a start, you could try the daily builds: http://download.rockbox.org/daily/ and see when exactly the problem started. This would help a lot in tracking down the problem.
