FS#8691 - Undefined instruction at 01F0ECD8 (0)
Was listening to “Don’t Fear the Reaper” on shuffle all my music, and repeat. When the song ended, the music player did not play the next track.
Upon looking at the screen, I discovered an error message. “Undefined instruction at 01F0ECD8 (0)”
Thanks to this, I am unable to turn off my music player, due to it being hard-locked until the battery runs out, or I unscrew the case and pop it out manually again.
Model is specifically a refurbished e270

Can you reproduce the error or is it a random occurance (these things happen occasionally for no particular reason)? Also, you might want to read the information in the wiki regarding your player, as it specifically covers the way to unfreeze your player in a situation like this.
This error occurs randomly on my Sansa e280R – usually it happens during playback of a song (I play my MP3s shuffled from an M3U playlist with no repeat – regain option is enabled). However, after the error occurs, I’m always able to reset the Sansa by unplugging the device from USB and holding the power button down for 15 seconds or more.
Is this still happening with a current build (say r17290 or later)?
