Hallo. sorry for my bad english.

i want to play files with lenght of for example 7 hours. if i want to seek now, the music plays till the preload is finish and then jump it to the seek position. i think the problem is the disabled antiskip function.

Can you reactivate that?

thanks

in the rockbox build for ipod video is the option "anti-skip buffer" in the "playback" menu. why not in the nano build?

Antiskip is only for hard disk targets. Also it shouldn't make any difference to seeking.

Please try to explain the problem you're seeing again, I don't understand the issue.

ok i try in english

i want seeking by playing with large files (mixtapes, dj sets). the timeposition seek, but the playback doesn't jump to the position. it takes a while than jump the playback too. in old rockbox builds with "anti-skip buffer" works fine. i had it on 5 seconds and the buffer filling takes a short time.

i hope you understand my problem now

It's better to ask your question in english so more people can understand it, but if you are really unable to explain what your problem is maybe you should try it in German.

Is your problem one of these?
- playback continues during seeking (fast forwarding)
- after seeking, playback continues at the old position and jumps to the new position after a while

Hi Christian,

Is this still happening? Which music format are you using (MP3? FLAC? AAC? WMA? etc.)
