FS#8774 - MP4 Video in the database
Currently, the database will add any supported media files.
Unfortunately, this also includes MP4 video files.
the database should ignore MP4 video.
I have realised that will some MP4 Video files, the database does ignore.
Maybe it’s a problem with MediaCoder and some other encoders?
If so, then how do you fix this?
If not, it should be fixed in rockbox.

If Rockbox can play the audio streams in your video files, then it's correct behaviour for the database to index them.
As mentioned in the task comments, you
can use database.ignore files to exclude
files from the database.

Do you know that you can make the database ignore certain folders by placing a ‘database.ignore’ file in them? (See chapter 4.2.2 in the manual.)
I don’t think the database should ignore mp4 by default. As far as i know rockbox can play the audio stream in such a container.
I dont think so either. most of my music is MP4.
and yes, even though it takes longer to load, it can play the audio stream.
maybe someone knows how to tag a video mp4 file so that it will be ignored?
I know it works with some of the videos i have imported
