Cowon iAudio M3 (not L) is my player, modded to use a compactflash card through an adapter instead of a Toshiba harddrive, though same problem arises with harddrive.
The problem is pretty straightforward: when i play an MP3 file (I've tried 3 so far), the now playing screen shows strange glitches and eventually goes blank, while the music keeps on playing and responds to controls. It is impossible to reactivate the screen without turning the player off and on again. I'd say this is pretty severe since I can't really use the player for what it was made for with this problem.
