Details

iRiver H340. Initializing Database fails. DB initializes in background for a while, but ultimately fails, returning:

I0B:Line-F
at 311BA00


on the screen. Player then must be hard-reset. Some kind of panic?

It would be helpful if you could try to see if one (or more) specific file(s) cause this.
Doing a binary search is one way, basically you remove half your tracks and try again, if it still fails, remove half of what's left, if it doesn't fail try with the earlier removed half, and continue until you have a track that cause it and post it here for someone to take a look at.
That is if a specific file causes this to happen.
