Confirmed on Sansa C250 with r19866-090127. Tracks played as part of a Cuesheet are not added/added correctly in the .scrobbler.log - at the moment I can’t get my player to add *any* files to the log, but I’ll try to upload a log at a later date.
The cuesheet only exists at the WPS level - the playback code only sees one track, and this is what calls the scrobbler code (as track change events). JdGordan was looking into moving the cue support into the playback code? Or perhaps the WPS code could call the scrobbler_change_event() function? Although I don’t know if a full ID3 struct exists for cuesheet tracks…
yeah, scrobbler would need a bit of work but there should be enough info in the cuesheet to work
please….i really need it..
Please fix this bag(
requesting it get fixed wont change anything… it needs someone who has the time and inclination and know-how to fix it.
That said, I had a look at this last night and its not so simple. the scrobble code has no knowledge of cuesheets which it needs for this to work.
When you do have scrobbleing enabled and play a cuesheet… does it add the track more than once to the list? I’m guessing it will add the audio file every time the subtrack changes after its 50% through the file?
I have this same problem - to answer the question above, no, it does not re-scrobble every time it changes the subtrack. it only rescrobbles if i skip forwards or backwards through the subtrack by hand. it still only scrobbles the full track name each time, not the subtrack’s name.
