Details

While playing an MP3:

1) press "pause"
2) press "rewind" for 2 seconds to rewind within the current file
3) press "power" for 2 seconds to turn the unit off

As the "Shutting down" message appears on screen, the playback resumes for a few seconds before the player turns off.

Here's what's on my Rockbox Info screen:
