I was about to commit this, but is it really needed? md5sum can be exited while its working, and its not really easy to accidentally run the plugin.
I started the plugin just out of interest, and it ran like mad. It was not clear to me that it’s possible to stop it (eventually I tried and it stopped). So another solution would be to display something like “Press STOP to abort.”
