tried this with my mini2g and unfortunatly my a/v reciver still says "unsupported ipod" so no idea if this works or not :/

What do you see under System->Debug->View I/O Ports->IAP PACKET?

I have a mini2g too and I wonder what do I need to get my wired remote working. Would this patch work? Still trying to figure out how to patch :P
