FS#9984 - H120 hangs on battery low if power adapter is connected
An old issue that persists is the inability of rockbox to properly detect the battery charge remaining in iHP-120. Or, perhaps my battery is wearing out (5 years now!). Either way, setting battery level to the lowest setting still does not switch off the player on low battery.
I am ok with that issue - I can manually switch off the player on low battery - that works. However, this next issue is annoying. When the battery gets really low, rockbox is unable to read files and music playback stops. In such a case, if I connect the power adapter, I expect rockbox to continue playing the song. But, it hangs the player completely. None of the buttons do anything except bring on/off the backlight! I have to remove the power adapter and wait for the player to switch off (or reset it with a pin I don’t have).
Looks like there is a race here somewhere. I am not on the latest level - I am on v3.0, I believe. I’ll confirm that.
