Details

Replaces debug output with optional log output. Output is enabled by uncommenting a define statement. Disabled by default.

The front page says that this has been commited. Are they leaving this open for improvement?

Another very similar patch was committed at the same time as this one. That one was closed, but this one was left open. I think it's just an oversight.
