DetailsMy iriver H10 freezes up with the scroll pad stuck up, (usually suddenly turning up the volume to max) while the back light flashes and then shuts it off. This will happen after it is on for a few minutes, even with a freshly charged battery. When I try to turn it on after this happens, it says the battery is dead, however, my iriver H10 still runs fine when running the original firmware. I am running version 3.3 on it right know, though I was also having the same problem with a prior version.

Have you tried updating your firmware? Version 3.7 is the latest stable release for the iriver H10 20GB and iriver H10 5GB.
