I noticed that in recent simulator builds the remote WPS doesn't get updated correctly on track change, no matter if you just let it play or skip to previous or next track.

Some items, especially metadata, stay at the thing shown when entering the WPS, it's not completely consistent as once in a while one of these things are updated (didn't find a pattern for this). One thing that worked correctly usually is the current playing time, playlist position worked for me in the sim but not on target, file info often works too, metadata usually doesn't work correctly.

The behaviour was present in an H300, an X5 and an M5 sim. I could also confirm this with r27726 on my M5. Testing for the bug reports, I found that this problem was introduced with "r27666: Fix FS #10926 - h300 wps wouldnt be updated correctly when the backlight turns off because the remote is being naughty".
