DetailsSometime between the 20101225 and 20101226 builds, the manuals got truncated for some reason. A brief survey shows that they don't truncate in the same place between player versions, but it seems to be usually in the Plugins chapter (Chapter 11 for most). The only changes in about the right timeframe in that directory were 28893 and 28902. 28893 seems to be in about the same place where it truncates for the Sansa e200 manual where I first noticed it, ending in the middle of the disktidy section, but I don't see anything obviously wrong with it (but I don't know tex markup well). On the other hand, the iAudio X5 manual ends in the previous section. In the Archos Player manual, it's in a different place within the disktidy section, even though it's Chapter 10 there because Player has no Recording chapter.
I guess, either go over 28893 with a fine-tooth comb, or look for something in higher directories that would change how the manual was built. Ah! I think I might have spotted it. The dollar sign before RECYCLE.BIN in line 24 in disktidy.tex looks out of place to me. Could someone who really knows TeX check that? |

Oh, and I should have mentioned, when I say it's truncated, I mean the manuals don't have Chapter 12 (Advanced Topics, whichever number it is for various versions) or any of the Appendices, including Credits & Licenses. And the PDFs are showing a blank table of contents. So, it's a bit more urgent that it would be if it were just the Plugins chapter being shortened a bit.
