FS#12197 - iPod nano 2G freezes when trying to charge over USB while using the player
I'm using Release 3.9 on the nano 2G.
Using the information from the manual (Section 3.3 - http://download.rockbox.org/daily/manual/rockbox-ipodnano2g/rockbox-buildch3.html#x5-380003.3), I tried to prevent the ipod from connecting to the computer by holding down a key as I plugged in the device.
The ipod froze after about 1-2 seconds and required a hard reset (Menu+Select). It didn't seem to matter which key I held down.
This happens consistently, but I have not noticed any other side effects like the ones mentioned here: http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/12031

This is close enough to FS#12031 that its almost certainly the same
underlying problem.

How is this problem different then
FS#12031?It's different in three ways:
1) no corruption occurs when I do a force restart.
2) Also, according to that bug report it works fine the first couple times he reinstalls, but it never worked for me, it failed the first time I tried it.
3) Also, according to that bug report it also happens when he plugs it in regularly (Disk Mode). Disk mode works fine for me.
